We Started With a Simple Belief

A Grassroots Movement, Volunteer-Powered
C4 actually started before I was even aware of it. I grew up in a family of 10 and had the good fortune of attending private school my entire life. I had every need met while growing up but we couldn't afford private school...so we became the janitors, the landscape crew, the set up and taken down bingo crew...anything to offset the cost of tuition for 8 children all born within 10 years of each other.
All my siblings entered the serving professions (police officers, nurses, teachers, probation officers, psychiatric technicians) so starting my own nonprofit was in my blood. It has been my honor to take my roots, my life lessons, and my big heart to do nonprofit work since 1999.
Those early childhood experiences taught me the values of what I now call C4. Those values have shaped my entire existence and continue to be my life's essential ingredients.
Now I get to share my nonprofit work with my family and help my children know the feeling of giving of ones self towards something bigger is one of life's greatest gifts.
